SAVE Dade to be featured in documentary television series “Fault Lines”

The camera crews of “Fault Lines” were in the SAVE Dade offices last Tuesday. The documentary television series is focusing on voter suppression and asked to feature SAVE Dade after hearing about its “12x12”campaign.
SAVE Dade Field Director Dave Valk, who is heading the 12x12 campaign, knows first-hand the difficulties that new voter regulations in Florida have placed on groups like SAVE. Valk helped to develop a new way to engage voters that works within the new laws. The 12x12 campaign has allowed SAVE Dade to continue to engage voters despite voter suppression laws, making it the only organization in the state – LGBT or straight – that is still doing so.
We will be sure to keep you updated about when and where you can see SAVE Dade and its 12x12 campaign featured in an upcoming episode of the series.
