For the past eight years, SAVE has hosted some of the community’s most prominent lesbian, gay, bisexual, and transgender (LGBT) luminaries for one very special evening. In its 9th year running, SAVE's annual Champions of Equality awards reception will honor those leaders who helped make 2014 such an amazing success for equality.
With historic victories in SAVE's Florida marriage lawsuit and for transgender rights in Miami-Dade County, there is much to celebrate. We expect several hundred community, business, and civic leaders to attend the 9th Annual Champions of Equality Awards Reception to be held this year on Friday, May 8th at the lovely Briza on the Bay event space in Downtown Miami.
Our success is thanks to supporters like you, but with fights for statewide employment discrimination protections and transgender human rights looming in 2015, now is the time to join together -- only with YOUR support can we keep up the momentum for equality!
On Friday, May 8, please join South Florida's most influential community, business, and civic leaders for this most elegant reception honoring those who helped SAVE make 2014 such an incredible year for equality.
Benefits of sponsorship include complimentary ticket packages, speaking opportunities at the event, and recognition on all promotional materials leading up to and during the event, and opportunities to present Champion of Equality awards for Angel- and Champion-level sponsors.
For more info on Champions of Equality sponsorship opportunities, please contact SAVE Executive Director Tony Lima at (786) 246-6417 or firstname.lastname@example.org.

We're proud to announce that SAVE Action PAC endorses Florida's first elected openly gay state legislator, State Representative David Richardson, for Florida's 35th State Senate seat in 2016!
Representative Richardson exceeded all expectations after his historic election in 2012. He has served in Tallahassee admirably on behalf of not only the 113th House District but also the greater South Florida LGBT community.
As a member of the Florida House of Representatives, Rep. Richardson fought to provide state funding to tackle the problem of homelessness among LGBT youth.
He also spearheaded changes that have added protections for LGBT children and teenagers in the state foster care system, and he was an outspoken supporter of pro-equality leaders during the 2014 election cycle.
In December, Richardson became the first openly LGBT individual to serve in a leadership position in the Florida legislature when the House Democratic Caucus selected him as Floor Leader. We couldn't be prouder to support his bid for the State Senate.
Today's announcement comes as part of SAVE Action PAC's strategy to support pro-equality leaders early and often to ensure victory come Election Day -- and we'll need YOUR help to win!
Thanks for your support!
